Midlands Initiatives for Local  Enterprise Inc (MILE) is a  community driven organisation,  based in Oatlands, which aims  to stimulate and enhance well-  being and cohesion in the rural  remote communities of the  Southern Midlands.

Bush Buddies Donations of non-perishables  being taken at the MMCC now. 
Midlands Memorial Community Centre Midlands Memorial Community Centre oridinal Oatlands Memorial Library was renovated by the Southern Midlands Council with funding from Federal, State and Local government. The Centre is located at 68 High Street Oatlands, and is the home of Midlands Initiatives for Local Enterprise and its many projects.
